Suggested Itinerary#

Your itinerary is exclusively yours to tailor to suit your group's interests and profile of your members. Here is our suggested itinerary:

Day 1 - UK to Dresden

Scheduled flight to Berlin - transfer with our guide in our private executive coach to the 4* Bilderberg Bellevue Hotel Dresden - dinner in our hotel.

Day 2 - Dresden & New Green Vault

Guided tour of Dresden taking in sights such as Semper Opera House, the Cathedral and a visit to the reconstructed Frauenkirche - guided tour of the Royal Palace and the New Green Vault with its collection of fine silver and jewellery.

Day 3 - Pillnitz Castle and Gardens, Saxony Switzerland & River Elbe cruise

Guided tour of the Chinese style Pillnitz Castle and Gardens, lying picturesquely on the banks of the River Elbe and with flying buttresses and chimneys ornamented with crowns - panoramic tour through the deeply cut Elbe Valley known as Saxony Switzerland taking in sights such as the Bastei Rocks and Königstein Fortress - paddle steamer cruise along the River Elbe from Königstein to Pirna to view the splendour of the Saxony Alps from a different perspective - optional tour and tasting at a carefully selected vineyard en route back to the hotel.

Day 4 - Zwinger Palace

Guided tour of the Old Masters Picture Gallery in the Zwinger Palace, the old fortress of Dresden, introducing us to works by Rubens, Canaletto, Raphael, Titian, Rembrandt and Vermeer, as well as a wonderful Mei βen porcelain gallery.

Day 5 - Meißen Porcelain Museum

Guided tour of the Meißen Porcelain Museum gives an insight into the production process at this world renowned manufacturer - time at leisure in Meißen where you may choose to visit Albrechtsburg Castle or the Gothic cathedral - transfer to Berlin Airport for our scheduled flight home.

Four nights at the centrally located 4* Bilderberg Bellevue Hotel Dresden. Located by the River Elbe, facilities at the hotel include a restaurant, bar and swimming pool and all rooms are en suite. A welcome dinner is served in the hotel on the first evening and the remaining three nights are on bed and breakfast basis.
