Suggested Itinerary#
Your itinerary is exclusively yours to tailor to suit your group's interests and profile of your members. Here is our suggested itinerary:
Day 1 – Sant’Agata sui Due Golfi
Scheduled flight to Italy from your preferred airport – transfer with our guide in our private executive coach to the 4* Hotel Due Golfi in the village of Sant’Agata sui Due Golfi.
Day 2 – Amalfi Coast
Tour the fabulous Amalfi Coast stopping at Belvedere Positano for a stunning view and at Amalfi followed by the hydrofoil to Maiori and then coach to Ravello with time for lunch.
Day 3 – Mount Vesuvius & Pompeii
Stop to see Mount Vesuvius – guided tour and then the rest of the day at Pompeii, the town destroyed by the eruption of Vesuvius in 79AD and then preserved by the deluge of ash and lava giving us an amazing insight into ancient Roman life.
Day 4 – Naples & Museo Archeologico Nazionale
Guided tour of Naples taking in sights such as the Palazzo Reale and Piazza del Plebiscito – guided tour of Museo Archeologico Nazionale with its magnificent collections of artefacts, mosaics and painted plaster from Pompeii and Herculaneum.
Day 5 – Sorrento or Island of Capri
Free day to enjoy Sorrento or join the optional excursion to the island of Capri – after a boat transfer to the island, a guided tour of this beautiful island is followed by time to wander through the maze of delightful streets and squares or simply to dine in one of the many trattorias.
Day 6 – Paestum
Guided tour of Paestum explores the site of the temples of Hera, Neptune and Ceres at what was the ancient Greek city of Poseidon (named Poseidonia by the Romans) and are considered to be amongst the best preserved examples of Doric temples anywhere in the world.
Day 7 – Herculaneum & Oplontis
The ancient town of Herculaneum that was destroyed in the eruption of Vesuvius was home to an array of sprawling villas owned by wealthy patricians that were built for the enjoyment of sea breezes and views across the Bay of Naples – in Oplontis we explore the excellently preserved architecture and decorations at Villa Poppaea, the home of Nero’s wife and his family.
Day 8 – Sant’Agata sui Due Golfi
Morning free to relax – transfer to the airport for our scheduled flight home.

Cumae & the Cave of the Sibyl - the archaeological park is the site of the Cave of the Sibyl, one of the major oracles of the ancient world dedicated to the famous prophetess
Baia - deriving its name from Baios, Odysseus’s navigator, and the place where Roman society came to swim, its Parco Archeologico features extensive ruins of Roman palaces
Stabian Villas - excavations at this site have so far revealed the remains of two large villas, Villa Arianna and Villa San Marco destroyed by Vesuvius in 79AD
